The Grue-crew have been transformed. The Black Saint, Thomas Mariani and Doc Rotten - along with Decades of Horror friends Bill Mulligan and award-winning director Christopher G. Moore made their way to Dragon Con 2016 to participate on a number of the panels scattered throughout the Horror Track. Aside from Christopher G. Moore, a frequent Con goer who covered DragonCon 2015 for HNR and the Hannibal Fan Podcast, it was the first trip for the rest of us. Tonight, the crew share their journey.

Thomas steps in to give his thoughts on the latest genre bending flick from director Kevin Smith, the head-scratching adventure Yoga Hosers. While Thomas has been known to crap on awful films mercilessly, he has never yet given a film a zero. Oh, man! Santos chimes in on the second crap-fest of the week, Morgan which tanked at the box office failing to crack the top ten. Horror is in desperate need of a Blair Witch now!

Dave returns to announce the Horror News of the Week discussing a variety of items about Shin Godzilla's October release date, Amazon getting the TV series based on Tremors featuring Kevin Bacon and the crew react to the trailer for the "expendables of horror," Death House. Doc and Gruesome Magazine writer Paul Cardullo are heading to Wreak Havoc Film Festival in Greensboro, North Carolina this late September/early October. Another announcement for the fall is that Horror News Radio will be at Spooky Empire in Orlando, Florida, October 7 - 9, 2016. Oh, boy! Plan your trip now.

Co-hosts Doc RottenSantos (The Black Saint) Ellin Jr.Dave Dreher and Thomas Mariani are back again this week to give you the best in horror as they recap, review and obliterate all that is horror this week! Oh, and don't forget - Stump the Saint! (Brought to you by Gruesome Magazine)

Convention Report: Dragon Con (2016)

The Grue-crew have discovered their new home away from home. Dragon Con 2016 was amazing with great panels, fantastic guest, spectacular friend (old and new) and the most incredible Cosplay on the planet. Horror News Radio, Decades of Horror and Gruesome Magazine were represented in full as Doc Rotten, The Black Saint, Thomas Mariani, Bill Mulligan and Christopher G. Moore descended down on to the Horror Track. The track is managed by the tireless and inspiring Derek Tatum, setting up panels on Preacher, The Shining, American Horror Story, Ash vs the Evil Dead, Bates Motel, Lucio Fulci, Modern Horror Classics, Phantom of the Paradise, Hammer Films of the 1970s and the legacy of the Blind Dead. If you are a horror fan, the Dragon Con Horror Track is THE place to be.

Feature Review: Yoga Hosers (2016)

Kevin Smith returns continuing his Canadian adventures with Yoga Hosers featuring Lily-Rose Depp, Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp. Thomas Mariani steps in to warn each and every HNR fan to think twice before stepping into this heaping pile of manure. Yeah, that's right, he did not like it. But, just how much did he not like it. Oh, dear God. It's brutal.

Feature Review: Morgan (2016)

While Yoga Hosers is a smaller release by comparison, Morgan landed in 2000 theaters this weekend to a paltry $2 million box office. Thud. The film tanked, hard. The Black Saint is the only crew member to suffer through the film. He is here to share his thoughts - in his usual Black Saint style.
