The Horror News Radio grue-crew continue their 2016 journey to a series of amazing horror film festivals up and down the East Coast. Next up for Doc Rotten and, for this festival, Chad Hunt is the jam packed Knoxville Horror Film Festival in Tennessee playing October 21 - 23, 2016. Doc sits down with the director of the festival, William Mahaffey. The show has continued to to grow over the past year and the line up is as strong as ever, including showings of Phantasm Remastered and Phantasm Ravager. William shares his journey, the films and a peak into the future for the Festival.

 INTERVIEW: William Mahaffey, director Knoxville Horror Film Festival (2016)

For the eighth annual Knoxville Horror Film Festival, the programming crew have gathered an amazing festival full of fantastic horror films. Director William Mahaffey is here to discuss the festival, the films and the future. First he shares the origins of the festival and the passion he and his team have going into the curating and execution of the event each and every year. He shares some of the decisions he faces as he schedules the films. He also goes through each of the feature films and highlights many of the sensational shorts playing at this years festival. He also gives us a peak at the plans for next year including when and how to submit films for 2017.
