Daniel Radcliff continues to explore the horror and fantasy genre after his years as Harry Potter with Horns playing a man who is accused of killing his girlfriend, Juno Temple, finds that he grows a pair of horns and decides to solve the murder on his own facing his own demons and those of his friends and surrounding community. Director Alexandre Aja delivers his most emotional work yet and the HNR crew share their thoughts on the film, the direction and the power behind the script inspired by the book from Joe Hill.
The popular found footage anthology franchise continues with VHS: Viral providing three new shorts and another wonky, confusing wrap around story. As with most anthology films, the movie is a good as its best short and as bad as its worst with VHS: Viral being the most uneven of the series yet, but still strong enough to have the HNR grue-crew looking forward to a fourth entry.
Joseph Perry returns with another thrilling report from overseas, this week is the third report from the Busan International Film Festival. Joseph share his impression on two kick ass horror films, Creep and It Follows.
Dave returns to bring you the Horror News of the Week with news of the next Texas Chainsaw Massacre film Leatherface will be directed by the team behind Inside, Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury. Eleven directors line up for a new feature announced for October 2015 titled Tales of Halloween with talent such as Neil Marshall, Darren Bousman, Mike Mendez and more. John Carpenter releases a new album of original soundtrack music called Lost Themes. Now that Rob Zombie has releases a synopsis of his next feature 31, the inspiration from Marvel's X-Men comic character Arcade and his Murderworld is painfully obvious. Pepsi ups its marketing with some Halloween fanfare. Good times!
