The cannibal horror film from Eli Roth finally ends is long journey to the big screen - courtecy of Blumhouse - as The Green Inferno paints the screen red with gruesome gore and bloodshed. The Grue-Crew grab a seat at the Blumhouse table to see what Mr. Roth serves up ready to devour the film, savoring the best moments and spitting out the less favorable attempts at humor & future film set up. C'mon, a stinger...for The Green Inferno...really? Thankfully, the one-and-only Ormon Grimsby is here to share his thoughts on the film as well.

 

Dave begins the HORROR NEWS OF THE WEEK segment with news about The Black Mirror returning to Netflix, Meg singing a familiar director and Prometheus 2 gets a new title. In the What Have You Been Watching segment Doc, Thomas and Santos examine the two hour premiere of the FOX horror show, Scream Queens.

Review: The Green Inferno (2015)  

Who doesn't love a good, gory-as-hell cannibal film to help choke down a large popcorn and soda at the local cinema? Does Eli Roth deliver that devilish feast of a flick with his latest film The Green Inferno? Does it bring the gut-munching goods? What Have You Been Watching: Scream Queens Season 1 - Episodes 1 & 2 (2015)  

Horror icon Jamie Lee Curtis leads the cast of the latest FOX horror television offering, Scream Queens. From American Horror Story creators Ryan Murphy and Brah Falchuk along with fellow Glee creator Ian Brennan, the horror comedy features Emma Roberts, Skyler Samuels, Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Diago Boneta, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Nasim Pedrad and Oliver Hudson. The Grue-crew, having endured the two-episode, two-hour premier (Pilot / Hell Week), gather to dish the dirt on this latest horror comedy effort.

 

Horror News of the Week for 09/28/2015  

Dave shares the Horror News of the Week beginning with Netflix ordering 12 new episodes of Black Mirror for its third season. Eli Roth is now the latest director set to helm the big-screen adaptation of the giant shark novel, MEG. Currently promoting his Sci-Fi Oscar-contenter, The Martian, Ridley Scott is suggesting that his next feature, Prometheus 2, will now go by the name Alien: Paradise Lost. Wesley Snipes is convinced that Marvel is still eyeing him for a return to the Blade franchise. In a recent interview, Nic Cage confesses that he regrets nothing...not even the remake of The Wicker Man.
